So our local ABC affiliate is owned by Sinclair, therefore Jimmy Kimmel will be unavailable in my area. I probably wouldn't even watch (on too late for me)  but I demand the choice. To Hell with them, and all that buy into that censorship. If you don't want to watch a program, then DON'T.  But do not decide on your own for the masses what is acceptable  while the rest of the country, not served by that trumpian company, gets to watch. I am disgusted with the state of America brought on by that pathetic slug in the White House. Screw him and everybody that supports that f-ing horror show. Every freaking day he sinks us lower into the abyss with his ignorant takes and comments. PLEASE unfriend me if this offends, but I am sick of that fool and his lackeys. Re the Kirk stuff ...is "Charlie" on his birth certificate or is it "Charles"? Everybody is so familiar with somebody that most people never heard of until he died. Now he's apparently the second coming of you know who. Weird.

Kimmel was suspended, but it often happens when unpopular views are shown to the public. Think Roseanne. Think Smothers Brothers ( dating myself. .. Vietnam War era reference). Both sides of the "aisle" are guilty. The HUGE difference is that this ongoing suppression is clearly targeted at a huge segment of America and the grand perpetrator of this is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. As America suffers through so many domestic and international crises, djt feels the most dire emergency is to worry about his image and stifle those in the entertainment industry, particularly comedians who have his number. For all the wailing, the uber-right are certainly using and benefiting from the tragic death of Mr. Kirk. Much like using trump's bloody ear as a rallying cry. Mourn Mr. Kirk,  certainly, but use it as a chance to overcome the division as opposed to rallying against fellow Americans.  This is the most shameful and frightening administration I've ever had the misfortune of witnessing. Trampling of civil rights and ignorance of the Constitution while blasting through orders that do nothing positive while hurting thousands upon thousands as he threatens and intimidates those not obeying his idiocy. He is the single most dangerous felon in power in America and those still supporting this fool need to get their heads examined because they are short even a little common sense. Resist and rebel against this horror show. 

No other word for it. trump is a BULLY. How were bullies treated in school? Stand up to them. You might be bloodied, but you will not be bowed. I also see where Kimmel has to apologize to Kirk's family and make personal financial restitution to them and his company. WHY? Kimmel's comments were targeting trump, not Kirk. This is just ridiculous. Don't do it. 

 The silencing of media continues. First Stephen Colbert is canned by CBS despite being the highest rated. trump has been after the Big Three networks. He hates CBS and lawsuits and threats from djt led to CBS dropping him. Now his hatred for the other highly rated talk show host has led to the suspension of Jimmie Kimmel. Not fired yet, but unless he bows to trump, chances are good he'll be gone as well. Money and fear of trump is again the reason. For Nexstar to be able to proceed with their merger, they need support from the FCC (who's a trump appointee) and that won't happen as long as Kimmel is allowed to come after trump. So, bottom line, is that this administration continues the bullying and silencing of anti-trump speak. Another page from the fascist handbook. Silence the opposition in any way you can. Adults used to be able to simply not watch something they don't like. Now Daddy T feels he can't trust adults and he makes his move. We're just at the beg...

So now trump protesters can be investigated. I get it if he was threatened, but he calls for this because a few women verbally called him out when he was making a PR visit to a restaurant. He was offended and feels these few ladies should be arrested. Mr. Thin-Skin can't deal with anybody not kneeling down while sucking up to him. I'd be honored to have him get upset at me for protesting in his presence. Please come to middle GA !
